Performer

25 years of experience on and around stages, currently performing with High Lonesome – sometimes as a duo with Chuck Sitero; trio with Chuck and Dylan Kober. The real treat is when the full band takes the stage. Available for the occasional sit in with other acts.

Teacher

Looking for new victims, ahem, students to geek out with over music.Currently developing a video series for Youtube with practical applications of how bass lines are constructed. Online or in-person. Currently $50/hour lesson.

Community

I love jams! Strawberry, blueberry, gooseberry… no wait, the other kind of jam – bluegrass, with a sprinkle of western swing, jazz and “oldies” (but goodies). Active in the north and east of Colorado.

Performer

I love playing music – the connection with the other players and the audience is a magic I haven’t experienced anywhere else. I am frequently complimented on the feel of my bass playing, and I think that comes from enjoying the experience of playing together.

Teaching

Lessons available – upright bass, bluegrass, some jazz, one-off lessons for particular issues and questions.

Community

Currently I’m the social media/webmaster for the Pearl, Tx Bluegrass Jam based an hour west of Waco. I’m a member of the Southwest Bluegrass Club and the International Bluegrass Music Association. I want to help groups develop a plan of succession as many of the original bluegrass community organizers get older and need more help and support.

“The pivotal event isn’t the success from rolling the dice, but the rolling of the dice themselves, because you’re never more alive than when you’re on the cusp of madness.

I apologize for the website construction “dust” – refocusing my career and professional goals means balancing time… and sometimes the website is at the bottom of my priority list
